Terms of Use
Last updated: October 28, 2026 (draft)
These terms set out the conditions for using OreKey (“the App”), an iOS app provided by alps.tokyo (“we”). They apply together with Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. By using the App, you agree to these terms.
1. The source code
If the App’s source code is published, its use is governed by the LICENSE in the repository. These terms cover the App distributed on the App Store and are separate from the source code license. The App uses third-party software (AzooKeyKanaKanjiConverter under MIT, its default dictionary under Apache-2.0, and others) under their own terms.
2. Compatibility
Depending on iOS, your device or the app you type into, all or part of the App may not work. The App is not used in fields iOS protects, such as password fields. Command input (Esc, Ctrl and so on) works only where the receiving app treats control characters as such.
3. Your responsibility
Use the App in compliance with laws, public order and the rights of others. Checking conversion results and what you type is your responsibility.
4. No warranty
The App is provided as is. We make no warranty, express or implied, of accuracy, completeness, usefulness, continuity, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from defects or interruptions.
5. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for damages arising from using or being unable to use the App, except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, and except where the law does not allow our liability to be limited.
6. Changes and termination
We may change the App or stop providing it. Changes to these terms will be announced on this page.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes concerning the App are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the court having jurisdiction over our location.
